In my fourth year as Executive Producer at Notre Dame, I have had the opportunity to write for documentaries and special moments. This year I wrote for first person narration and celebrity storytelling. It was a unique challenge to write for a real character and a joy to watch the words brought to life. The first 2 selections come from a documentary special on Notre Dame Women's Basketball rise to the National Championship, voiced by WNBA star Skylar Diggins. The third selection was a show open to our National Signing Day coverage, read by the Notre Dame Football's strength coach. The final two selections are read by Notre Dame Football players Jerome Bettis (Pro Football Hall of Fame) and Alex Bars (2018 Captain, now of the Chicago Bears). Researching, writing, and directing of real people is a discovery process in authenticty and tone. I hope you enjoy!
