NBC Halftime and Pregame Features (2020)

I am fortunate to produce features for our NBC broadcast. This series sample from the 2020 football season follows the human interest profiles of the Notre Dame football student-athletes and coaches. The first segment is a unique look at Coach Brian Kelly during a week of great consequence, with the presidential election underway amid preparation for the #1 Clemson Tigers to take on his Fighting Irish. Amid the pandemic and social injustice, Coach Kelly led his team to believe in themselves, and their voices. The next story follows Joe Wilkins Jr, a wideout who lost his father before he was even born. A touching story unfolded as we discover the bond he and his mother share. The last two segments are from Captain Daelin Hayes and what makes him Rally for his community, and Shaun Crawford, who was playing in his 6th year at Notre Dame due to repetitive injury setbacks. All production honored Covid-19 guidelines as the interviewer was often not in the same room while the subjects were unmasked.
